Call for Speakers for 2009 Safety Summit

The Alaska Occupational Safety Summit Program Planning Committee (Committee) invites those interested in presenting at its 4th Annual Professional Development Summit, September 22 - 23, 2009, to submit a proposal.

The Committee will review proposals which provide advanced, technically-oriented presentations for occupational safety & health professionals. The Committee will consider presentation proposals for all aspects of occupational safety and health. Suggested topics of interest include:

  • Health, Safety and Environmental Management Systems
  • Industrial Hygiene
  • Construction Safety
  • OSHA Compliance Management
  • Safety and Health Training
  • Security and Emergency Action Planning
  • Transportation Safety
  • Risk Management
  • Legal Liability Aspects of Safety

The vision of the ASSE Alaska Chapter is to be the premier local organization and resource for those engaged in the practice of protecting people, property and the environment, and to lead the profession statewide.
